Pakistani drone spotted on Punjab border, shot down by BSF

BSF Shot down a Pakistani drone at Gurdaspur near Indo-Pakistan International Border in Punjab. The incident has been reported by locals at around 4.30 am. The drone was carrying a consignments from Pakistan to India. DIG BSF has reached the spot. and massive search have been started in the area.

The BSF personnel shot down a drone entering from  Pakistan side at Gurdaspur sector around 4.35 am, the official said. Search operation has been launched and we are monitoring entire area.

According to the information received, Drone tried to infiltrate in Punjab sector and later BSF 73 BN fired 3 light rounds and 17 rounds of bullets. After that the drone got stuck in tree and fell down. Senior officers of BSF Punjab are reached at the spot and taking stock of the situation.
