The Indian women's team completed a hat-trick by defeating UAE by 104 runs in their third match of the Asia Cup. Playing earlier, India had set a target of 179 runs for the victory in front of UAE. Batting first after winning the toss, Team India scored 178 for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs. Jemima Rodriguez scored the highest 75 runs and remained unbeaten while Deepti Sharma scored 64 runs. The partnership was 128 runs for the fourth wicket between both players. After this, the UAE team could score only 74 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs. India's next match is on 7th against Pakistan.
