South African batsman Riley Rossouw scored zero in first two T20Is but after scoring century in the third and final match of the series against India, said that if a player remains confident about his abilities, score will come eventually. Rossouw has represented South Africa in 36 ODIs and 21 T20Is but has been in and out from the team.
During this time, however, he has dominated the franchise cricket around the world. The left-handed batsman helped his team register a 49-run victory over India in the third T20I with an unbeaten 100 off 48 balls. The Indian Premier League (IPL) auction is nearing but Rossouw said that right now he is not thinking about it.
He said, "I really believe in my ability, I have shown it all over the world. Confidence is never an issue for me, it's just about the rhythm. Rossouw last played in the IPL in 2015 ,but after this inning he must have caught the attention of many franchise teams.
Rossouw had laid the foundation by adding 90 runs partnership with de Kock (68).
