Six people were injured in a shooting at a school in Oakland today, wherein three are in critical situation.  

According to Alameda County Sheriff's that the firing is over now . Oakland Fire Department said that we took six patients to the nearest hospital and all of them are injured due to bullets. Oakland Mayor shared the information on tweeter that all the injured were adults and sent to hospital. He also informed that shooting took place at the Alternative K-12 School.

Officials did not shared any information about victims whether is any students aged 18 or older. Officials said three of the wounded are in critical condition hence they were taken to Highland Hospital in Oakland. The other three were taken to Eden Medical Center and their condition is not known right now. Television footage showed that many police cars and yellow tapes on the road outside the school and students leaving surrounding campuses. City council member Treva Reid said investigators told her the shooting could be linked to "group and gang violence".
