5.2 magnitude earthquake hit Myanmar on Friday at 3:50 am. Tremors were also felt in northeastern states, including Assam, Manipur, and Meghalaya. The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 140 km, 162km northwest in Myanmar. Good news is that no casualties have been reported so far.
After around 4 hours another 3.8-magnitude earthquake hit at Manipur, It was reported around 7.53 am. However, no causality has been reported so far. The northeastern region falls at a high seismic zone this is the reason we have witnessed so many Earthquake here.Even yesterday, an earthquake of magnitude 4.5 on the Richter scale was recorded 150 km north of Diglipur in Andaman and Nicobar islands, the National Center for Seismology said.
